Who we are

A compliant, sustainable platform for overseas resources

Exploration Mining Processing Smelting
"Safety & compliance, professional & efficient, technology-driven, win-win cooperation."

Nicaragua Zhongwei Minería Grupo S.A. is a professional mining enterprise, established with the approval of the competent Nicaraguan authorities. We are deeply committed to Nicaragua's gold metallogenic belt, focusing on the systematic acquisition and large-scale development of gold resources, and drawing on the advantages of the China–Nicaragua Free Trade Agreement to build a benchmark platform for compliant, sustainable overseas gold operations.

With gold (Au), silver (Ag) and copper (Cu) at its core, the company plans to build an integrated, multi-metal group spanning exploration, mining, mineral processing and smelting. We pursue technological leadership and management innovation while holding firmly to an uncompromising baseline of safe, compliant operations — combining a professional operating team with an advanced technical system to create a sustainable overseas polymetallic mining platform.

On the technical side, full-process technical services are provided by the Shandong No. 3 Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources Exploration (based in Yantai), with eight drilling rigs already deployed to establish stable exploration capacity. In resources and management, the company is backed by the operating experience of leading domestic mines and supported through investment synergy with Shandong Ruidong Group.

The Golden Triangle

Projects located in Nicaragua's core "Golden Triangle" metallogenic belt — a major polymetallic province with outstanding metallogenic conditions and strong resource potential.

Multi-metal focus

Gold, silver and copper developed together across a full-chain operating system, from resource acquisition through to value-added output.

Integrated chain

A planned "explore–mine–process–smelt" model, combining open-pit and underground methods with internationally advanced mining and processing technology.

Compliance first

Strict adherence to Nicaraguan mining law, OECD supply-chain due diligence and ESG-focused, traceable sourcing throughout.

What we do

An integrated mining value chain

We are working to build a comprehensive multi-metal operation spanning the entire journey from geological discovery to refined, market-ready metal.

01

Exploration

Standardised drilling programmes and structured exploration workflows — eight rigs deployed — steadily building a reliable resource base across the belt.

02

Mining

A planned combination of open-pit and underground extraction, executed in strict accordance with local mining regulations and international best practice.

03

Processing

Beneficiation facilities planned alongside extraction, applying advanced mineral-processing technology to lift recovery rates and product quality.

04

Smelting

Supporting smelting infrastructure to complete a fully integrated industrial chain and deliver refined, internationally tradable metal.

Resources & location

Rooted in an exceptionally endowed metallogenic belt

The company's projects sit within Nicaragua's core "Golden Triangle" — one of the country's most important polymetallic regions, distinguished by exceptional metallogenic conditions and abundant mineral resources.

  • P10 mining concession (Lote P10) — held under a Ministerial Agreement and certified concession title, establishing clear legal standing to develop the resource.
  • Over US$1.96 billion in gold exports reported by Nicaragua in 2025 (national figure), with silver and copper also offering very high development value.
  • A footprint in Nicaragua's core polymetallic province, with further mining-rights acquisition advancing in line with Nicaraguan regulatory approvals.

Our products

Precious & base metals from the Golden Triangle

Our product range centres on gold, with silver and copper as the polymetallic base. Current output is limited to interim placer gold while mining and processing capacity is being built.

Gold doré

Semi-refined gold bars — the planned primary product once mining and on-site processing come online.

Planned

Placer gold

Alluvial gold recovered as an interim product during the current exploration and ramp-up phase.
